Strawberry Watermelon (Citrullus lanatus)
Revered for its sweet, bright flavor, this summertime favorite produces dark green, oblong fruit with brilliant strawberry-colored flesh. Expect tender, tasty 15-25-pound fruits if well composted. Good disease resistance.

- Direct sow ½-1” deep in full sun after last frost or start indoors 3-4 weeks prior to last frost. Harden off seedlings before planting. Watermelon seedlings prefer not to be disturbed; direct sow is suggested.
