65 day. A very pretty bean, green with small purple stripes. It grows very tall, over 8 feet, and the beans are easier to pick because the purple striping makes them stand out against the foliage.
Minimum of 40 seeds per packet.
Planting Depth: 1 inch
Plant Spacing: 2-6 inches
Row Spacing: 2-3 feet
Direct seed after last danger of frost has passed in full sun. Beans need soil temperatures between 75-85 degrees F to sprout. Make sure to check your nighttime temperatures too. They will not sprout if soil temperatures are below 60 degrees F.

In the summer of 2012, Indiana experienced drought conditions and record high temperatures. This bean was the only one that produced well in my garden, even during the hottest weather. The beans are beautiful, tender and full of flavor. They will always have a place in my garden!
I have grown many types of green beans, but these have the best flavor by far.
