Organic Purple Podded Pole Bean (Phaseolus vulgaris)
This tasty all-American heirloom was discovered in the Ozarks in the early 1930s. Tender, stingless beans are deep purple in the garden but bright green when cooked. Hardy plants reach 6’ tall and yield a bounty of delicious beans throughout the growing season.

- Germination: 7-10 days
- Maturity: 70-75 days
- Direct sow 1-1 ½” deep in full sun after danger of frost has passed. Beans need soil temperatures between 75-85° F to sprout.
- Space plants 3-6” apart; space row 2-3’ apart.
