Marglobe Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) Indeterminate
A delicious and reliable favorite, Marglobe is crack-resistant, disease-resistant, and weather-tolerant. This fast-growing variety produces 6 oz. tomatoes. Loved in northern states for a quick harvest and in the southern states for humidity tolerance. Lush, old-fashioned tomato flavor.
- 25 seeds minimum
- Germination: 7-14 days
- Maturity: 65-80 days
- Start indoors 6 weeks before the last frost. Plant 1/4" deep in seed starting mix. Requires soil temperatures of 75-85F to germinate. Heating mat is recommended. Keep moist.
- Harden off and transplant in full sun when all danger of frost has passed. Bury deep, planting the entire stem leaving only top leaves above ground.
- Space plants 2-3' apart; space rows 3-4' apart.

Good Old Reliable
I plant this variety every year and use it as an eating and canning tomato. It does not do well in very wet or very dry conditions and can be prone to disease if not watched carefully.
With the proper conditions it produces wonderfully.
