Yarrow (Achillea millefolium)
An old garden standard, yarrow is an extremely hardy perennial that tolerates drought, is deer resistant and provides excellent forage for such beneficial insects as lacewings and hoover flies. Bees and butterflies of all kinds will become regular visitors. The elegant white flower heads bloom all summer and can be cut, hung and air dried to add a dash of refreshing white to any dried arrangement.
- Minimum of 200 seeds per packet.
- Allow 10-20 days for germination.
- Mature height up to 28 inches.
- Plant in full sun to partial shade.
- Plant seeds 1/8 inch deep. Keep evenly moist.
- Thin plants to 12-24 inches apart.
