Red Garnet Amaranth (Amaranthus tricolor)
Amaranth is a stunning green and grain. Red Garnet has medium green leaves with a red overlay that is more pronounced in warmer climates. Shoots are delicious in salads and greens can be cooked like spinach. Amaranth grain can be harvested and used like quinoa or rice. Hardy plants reach 6-8' tall.
