Red Burgundy is the best red onion for southern gardeners. A beautiful ruby red, flat-shaped onion with a tasty, red-ringed flesh. It is ideal for salads and sandwiches. Best suited for southern gardeners.

• 250 seeds minimum
• Germination: 10-21 days
• Maturity: 100 days from transplant
• Direct sow ¼” deep in full sun as soon as soil can be worked. In northern climates, start indoors 8 weeks before last frost date. Plant multiple seeds into each container. Harden off seedlings before planting.
• Plant 2 seeds per inch in rows 12-18” apart. Thin to 4-6” apart for larger onions. To transplant, separate young plants and set 4-6” apart.
