Provider Bush Bean (Phaseolus vulgaris)
This heirloom promises an abundant harvest of round, straight and substantial green beans that taste great raw or cooked. An added perk: the Provider can be planted earlier than many other varieties because it germinates at lower soil temperatures.
- 40 seeds minimum
- Germination: 7-10 days
- Maturity: 55 days
- Direct sow 1-1 ½” deep in full sun after danger of frost has passed. Beans need soil temperatures between 75-85° F to sprout.
- Space plants 3-6” apart; space row 2-3’ apart.
