Product Description
What a great onion. All onions can be used as young, green onions before they form a bulb, but Evergreen Bunching far outshines them for intense flavor. It's well worth growing some for the amazing flavor it imparts to stir fries, soups, or anything you like to use onions in.
Minimum of 150 seeds per packet.
PLANTING INSTRUCTIONS:
Planting Depth: 1/8 inch
Plant Spacing: 4-6 inches
Start indoors 8 weeks before last frost. Sow up to 100 seeds in a 4-6 inch pot. To transplant, separate out the small, grass-like seedlings by picking up a bunch and rolling them gently in your fingers. Trim the tops to 4 inches and roots to 2 inches. Place in a deep trench, 5-6 inches apart. Cover the roots and then water. Seedlings are very tough and transplant well. When the seedlings are established continue to fill the trench to blanch the stems of the onions.
