Early Mizuna Mustard Greens (Brassica juncea)
These peppery-tasting, sawtooth-edged greens make a sparky addition to any salads! A heat- and cold-tolerant Japanese variety, the Early Mizuna performs especially well in spring or fall. Flourishes as a cut-and-come-again plant, too.

- Maturity: 30-55 days
- Direct sow deep ¼” in full sun as soon as soil can be worked. Plant again in midsummer for a fall harvest.

I live near the ocean and very little grows in my salt-filled, wind-beaten garden. This Mizuna not only grows but thrives, and makes a fantastic addition to salads and stir-fries.
