Snap peas, with their edible pods and delicious sweet peas, are definitely a garden favorite. Most snap peas are a new development, coming about in the 1980's, but Amish Snap is an exception. It produces 3-4 inch pods on 5-6 foot tall plants.
Minimum of 40 seeds.
Planting Depth: 1 inch

These are cool loving plants and will start to die off as soon as it gets too hot in the summer. Best grown first thing in spring and again in the fall.
Direct sow as soon as the soil can be worked in the spring. For a fall planting, direct sow 2 months before first frost.
