Amish Snap Pea (Pisum sativum)
Most snap peas are recent hybrids, but this time-tested Amish heirloom is a delicious exception. Hardy, pod-covered vines stretch to 5-6’. Three-to-four-inch pods are sweet and tender. Trellising is required.
- 40 seeds minimum
- Germination: 4 days
- Maturity: 6-70 days
- Direct sow 1” deep in full sun as soon as soil can be worked and again 6 weeks before last frost date.

- Space plants 2-3" apart; space rows 24” apart
