115 days. This Italian storage onion has a heat that chefs prize for cooking authentic Italian recipes. It is a good keeper, and it tolerates cool weather.
Minimum of 150 seeds per packet.
Planting Depth: 1/8 inch
Plant Spacing: 4-6 inches
Start indoors 8 weeks before last frost. Sow up to 100 seeds in a 4-6 inch pot. To transplant, separate out the small, grass-like seedlings by picking up a bunch and rolling them gently in your fingers. Trim the tops to 4 inches and roots to 2 inches. Place in a deep trench, 5-6 inches apart. Cover the roots and then water. Seedlings are very tough and transplant well.
