Our most popular variety! This porcelain hardneck grows extremely well in northern climates, producing hefty, easy-to-peel bulbs bursting with robust flavor. Long storing and absolutely delicious! Fall delivery.
Planting Instructions:
- Separate the cloves from the bulb
- Plant into a furrow about 3" deep
- Plant each clove pointy side up and root side down
- Plant each clove at least 6" apart
- Bury the cloves with 1" of soil
- Approx. 6-8 bulbs per pound; garlic is sold by weight not bulb count.
- Once pound plants approximately 15-20 linear feet at 6" spacing

Great reliable garlic
After trying for years to grow garlic from the grocery store (and failing) I decided to invest in some actually meant for growing - and I'm glad I did! This German hard neck variety grew fantastically! Every single clove germinated and is producing large heads about the size of my fist. Soon I will be harvesting the rest of them and seeing how curing goes. Would definitely recommend this variety to anyone!
