60-70 days. This is a really wonderful snow pea. Beautiful purple bicolor flowers lead to pale yellow pods. Not only are they beautiful, they are also tender, sweet and delicious with the best flavor of any snow pea I've tried. This pea grows up to 6 feet tall and benefits from trellising.
Minimum of 40 seeds per packet.
Planting Depth: 1 inch
Plant Spacing: 1-3 inches
Row Spacing: 2 feet
These are cool loving plants and will start to die off as soon as it gets too hot in the summer. Best grown first thing in spring and again in the fall.
Direct sow as soon as the soil can be worked in the spring. For a fall planting, direct sow 2 months before first frost.

These are gorgeous. The purple flowers are beautiful - such a nice change from the white blossomed peas I usually grow. Several people thought they were just ornamental flowers, before the peas formed. The peas are so pretty, too. The bright, happy yellow color looks sharp against the green leaves. This is truly a pleasure to grow.
