70 day. Verde is the standard green tomatillo, and for good reason. It's high yields of medium sized green tomatillos make it a great choice. It is an excellent variety for making salsa verde.
Minimum of 50 seeds per packet.

This was my first time growing tomatillos. They did great! I made lots of salsa verde, in addition to some soups. I did have to watch out for Colorado Potato Beetles, but they were easy to keep under control. I just checked the undersides of leaves every few days - any time I saw eggs I just tore the leaf off, and I squished the occasional adult I saw, and there was no impact on the produce itself.

Excellent tomatillo. In a couple weeks, we will be AWASH in these bad boys. Exceptional flavor and ease of growth. These tomatillos are heavy feeders, as would be expected, but are easy to grow. As we are in Alaska (Houston), this is a greenhouse only plant. However, in our greenhouse, less than 12-20 fruits per plant means something may be wrong on our end! We highly recommend this tomatillo.

The fact that I spent time this afternoon searching on-line for ways to preserve tomatillos tells you something about how many I am harvesting! I have 2 plants and they are coming out my ears. The plants are enormous, hardy, and producing like crazy. I'll be planting these every year!
