We have about a half dozen plants, plus a few we gave to friends. Overall, an excellent hot pepper; Not too hot, good flavor, and very prolific. Our friends report that the peppers are easy to grow, as have we.This pepper is approximately as hot as the average jalapeno, but with a "cleaner" flavor. Also, a good pepper for pickling. We recommend this pepper highly.
70 day. Hungarian Hot Wax is both early and prolific. A milder hot pepper, it can be used fresh, dried or cooked. It's a favorite sliced for salads or cooked on pizza. It's a good choice for those with cooler climates.
Minimum of 25 seeds per packet.
I tried these last year and they were so good that we didn't save enough seeds to replant.
