These are the largest squash I've ever grown. They are slightly elongated acorn squash shaped, mature to the color of a butternut squash, and have an amazing, sweet, rich flavor. They weighed in at 30-40 pounds, and I harvest 6 from one hill.
Minimum of 15 seeds per packet.
Planting Depth: 1 inch
Plant Spacing: 4 feet
Direct seed after last danger of frost and soil temperatures are above 60°F or start indoors 3 weeks before transplanting. The roots are delicate, so if you start indoors take care not to disturb the roots when transplanting.
