60-90 days. A small, sweet, white salad onion that does really well in the South. It has a mild flavor and caramelizes beautifully. Short-term storage. Intermediate to Short Day.
Minimum of 250 seeds per packet.
Maximum of 4 packets per order.
Planting Depth: 1/8 inch
Plant Spacing: 4-6 inches
Start indoors 8 weeks before last frost. Sow up to 100 seeds in a 4-6 inch pot. To transplant, separate out the small, grass-like seedlings by picking up a bunch and rolling them gently in your fingers. Trim the tops to 4 inches and roots to 2 inches. Place in a deep trench, 5-6 inches apart. Cover the roots and then water. Seedlings are very tough and transplant well.
