Purple Gleam Poppy (Eschscholzia californica)
Painterly single flowers with a lavender-rose hue that appears “brushed on.” Plants grow in loose, free-branching mounds with lacy, finely divided bluish-green foliage. This cool weather annual or short-lived perennial is easily grown in just about any environment.

- Germination: 14-24 days
- Bloom time: spring – early summer
- Direct sow in full sun/partial shade as early as soil can be worked. Gently press scattered seeds into loosened soil.
- Stratification is recommended in warmer climates.
- Space plants 6-8” apart.
