Organic Moon and Stars Yellow Watermelon (Citrullus lanatus)
Named for its beautiful yellow flecked rind, the Moon and Stars Yellow Watermelon was introduced by the Southern Exposure Seed Exchange in 1987. Produces fruits with yellow flesh and white seeds weighing up to 16 pounds.

- Germination: 5-10 days
- Maturity: 90-95 days
- Direct sow ½-1” deep in full sun after last frost or start indoors 3-4 weeks prior to last frost. Harden off seedlings before planting. Watermelon seedlings prefer not to be disturbed; direct sow is suggested.
- Sow seeds 6” apart. Space plants 18” apart in rows 6-8’ apart.
