Grown for generations in West Virginia, this early tomato is a great choice for slicing or canning. It has excellent yields of round 8 ounce, red tomatoes with a mild tomato flavor. Determinate.

Planting Depth: 1/4 inch
Plant Spacing: 2-3 feet
Row Spacing: 3-4 feet
Start indoors 6 weeks before last danger of frost. Requires soil temperatures of 75‐85°F to germinate. Use of a heating mat is recommended. Transplant when all danger of frost has passed. Plant deep, removing all but the top leaves and planting all the available stem.

I gave this one a trial last season and boy, am I glad I did. First to ripen, good size and loaded,tomatoes all ripened and then the plant was spent, taste was as good as they come for an early variety.
