Italian Heirloom produces huge yields of large, one pound, pear-shaped and fluted tomatoes. A beautiful slicer, with a good balanced tomato flavor. Indeterminate.

Planting Depth: 1/4 inch
Plant Spacing: 2-3 feet
Row Spacing: 3-4 feet
Start indoors 6 weeks before last danger of frost. Requires soil temperatures of 75‐85°F to germinate. Use of a heating mat is recommended. Transplant when all danger of frost has passed. Plant deep, removing all but the top leaves and planting all the available stem.

These were beautiful tomatoes and delicious! So meaty, my mom says she hasn't had a tomato that good since she was a kid. I agree!
I grew eight variety of tomatoes this season, and the Italian Heirloom is the biggest by far. Hardy plant, large fruits, and survived the heatwave and drought this season. Will be growing these again next season.
The Heirloom tomato variety packs prouted easily from seeds and are currently producing great tomatoes !
