Horehound (Marrubium vulgare) Perennial
A must have for every medicinal herb garden! Aromatic and hardy with silvery leaves and tiny purple, white, and pink blossoms, horehound is a member of the mint family often used to soothe coughs, sore throats, and wounds. Some value this bitter herb as a digestive aid. Horehound is commonly used as a candy and potpourri ingredient. Thrives well drained soil.
