This Japanese heirloom bears 7-8” fruits on sprawling 12’ vines that will flood your trellis! Melons/gourds with warted, deep green skin are used in Asian, African, and Caribbean cuisines; shoots and leaves are also edible. Highly nutritious. Futo Spindle is valued as a medicinal plant.
