Christmas Lima Bean (Phaseolus lunatus)
These merry, maroon-streaked white pole beans cook up creamy and delicious! The Christmas Lima produces tall vines that grow a bountiful, early crop — even under hot conditions. Can be shelled fresh or dried.
- 20 seeds minimum
- Germination: 7-10 days
- Maturity: 80 days
- Direct sow 1-1 ½” deep in full sun after danger of frost has passed. Beans need soil temperatures between 75-85° F to sprout.
- Space plants 3-6” apart; space row 2-3’ apart.
