For years I told myself to try turnips and rutabagas. In northern Michigan pasties are a specialty and full of meat, potatoes, carrots and turnips or rutabaga. This turnip caught my eye in Annie's so in August I planted the seeds. How beautiful they were coming up this past fall and fun to pick. We roasted them with carrots and potatoes in the oven, added them to soup and stew. They will be coming up from now on in my garden! Thanks Annie

40 days. Nice, flat baby turnips, these beauties really stand out. They have red shoulders and a white base. Known as a buttery turnip, these are a nice selection from Italy.
