52 day. Originally from Czechoslovakia, Stupice (pronounced Stoo-Peech-ka) is of the earliest tomatoes. It produces average yields of 2-3 inch, mild flavored, red tomatoes.
Minimum of 25 seeds per packet.

This tomato began to ripen even before my cherry tomatoes! It's flavor is good for such an early tomato; definitely better than what you'll find at the grocery store, but not the most flavorful tomato in the garden. Definitely worth planting some, especially if you have a short season. Beware: pick them when they're ripe, especially if you're having plenty of rain. They are NOT resistant to splitting!!

Small plants keep producing all summer. Disease resistant. Sweet, juicy, excellent for salads.

I started this tomato from seed indoors. I was pleasantly amazed at how much fruit these plants produced. I supported 8' tall plants to fencing and tall sturdy stakes. I had plenty to can with other variety tomatoes and gave lots away. Many people bragged on its sweet flavor. I will be growing this variety again this year.
