These peppers are not only tasty, but produce extremely well. We live where our season is very short, but have been enjoying many, many peppers for quite awhile now, and they are still producing. We have prepared them in different ways, including green salsa (SO good), sauteed in olive oil with fresh corn, and just toasted over an open flame.
60 day. Padron is a small hot pepper famous in Spain where they eat it sauteed in olive oil with sea salt as a tapas appetizer. If the peppers are harvested at 1 to 1 1/2 inches long, most will be mild with about one in twenty hot. It's kind of like playing Russian roulette, who knows if the next one will be the hot one! Leave them to get to 2 to 3 inches long and all of the peppers will be hot.
Minimum of 25 seeds per packet.
